IS KINDNESS A WEAKNESS?

KINDNESS, WHAT IT EXACTLY MEANS?

Since from our childhood some concepts are rooted so deep inside ourselves that we often live our whole lives by principles based on them. So, when i was younger i also thought that i knew what kindness means. It was all about being nice to people. As i gained more experience in my life (although i am 21) i concluded that kindness has a broader perspective. What looks kind to one person might not look kind to another.

Kindness means treating yourself in a way that you will treat someone other you love. Kindness is more about being conscious about your compassion. Kindness is a journey that starts from you. Giving yourself the best available thing always. It makes one capable to choose the best for another as well. This is how kindness connects from being kind to yourself first than to others. If you are rude to yourself in life, how can we expect that person to be kind. Someone said it better, “Never complain about the snow in your neighbours roof when your own doorstep is unclean”. “Kindness” is based on your own ethics, your own values, and your own beliefs. Kindness is rooted in empathy and acceptance. Empathy is the ability to understand someone else’s situation, experience, feelings, and behaviours, and it’s the foundation of this concern. If you want to be generous towards or help someone, first you need to understand where they are and what they’re dealing with — the good and the bad.

KINDNESS OR WEAKNESS DECIDE HERE!

It has been seen that we resist our kind selves when we are scared. When we’re scared, we go into survival.Literally your perception narrows, your heartbeat increases and it becomes all about staying safe. Now almost everyone among us have experienced pain and some have experienced more that they choose to live in the state of continious fear. All this pain builds in us and society tells us don’t feel it. But they forget to heal a wound you need to feel the wound. What most of us do, they swallow the pain, disappointment and frustation. In response this pain blocks our empathy, authenticity and performance.

Just remember that people who are in pain do painful things. People who are frightened are aggressive, often loud, bang their chests, selfish. They’re really interested in having a lot of fame and fortune in the world because deep within them is a scared little child that is just trying to feel safe. They have hypnotized and brainwashed themselves to thinking if they get the yacht and all the social media likes and a big house and a high position in the world, they’re going to be loved and feel safer. I feel so far it should be clear that who is weak a person who is unkind or the one who shows kindness.

IF I AM UNKIND, WHAT SHOULD I DO.

Go into yourself and explore that pain. Ask yourself why you might not be compassionate to people. Ask yourself maybe why you’re not expressing your truest self to your friends, coworkers, strangers. Ask yourself, “Am I insecure?” Ask yourself why you’re not a merchant of kindness. Ask yourself why you’re not the most positive person in every room that you’re in and start exploring the insecurity. The more I work with love, with the intention of love, the more influence I have. The more I try to give to my family, give to my friends, give to the people around me, give to the world, the more the world replies to my kindness. We get from life not what we take but what we give. So, givers get and takers don’t. Our primary state is state of love and kindness.

Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w) said, “Kindness is a mark of faith, and whoever is not kind has no faith.”
